What’s Happening in Chicago This August?

June Family Events In Chicago Suburbs

Looking for a family-friendly, affordable activity in The Windy City this August?

We’ve pulled together some of the month’s best events for families with children of all ages, and the best part is that most of them are free. Let your budget relax and unwind with your family at these great area activities. While your neighbors go broke at Lollapalooza, you’re guaranteed a good time at these venues. August is also packed with music festivals in the parks – check out Ravinia and Grant Park music festivals at the start of the month.

As always, we’d like to invite you to send us information about the events you are organizing. Just send the who, what, when, where, and why to this email address: (insert email address here). You’ll notice a change in our events section, too – while we’re still including major events from the metro area, we’ve decided to concentrate our focus on the Northwest Suburbs. After all, this is where we live, and there’s always something going on in our neighborhood.
